The team here at Salford Engineering Solutions Ltd have had an incredibly busy year so far, despite the obvious potential for Covid-19 setbacks! Included in our successful projects was the design and construction of 2 x 60 tonne Structures in July for Morris Homes. In the same month, a project completed by us provided ramp access by which powered access vehicles used by Network Rail, could gain entry to the main control centre.
Throughout our exceptional projects, our highly skilled team of designers, manufacturers and fabricators work extremely closely with clients. Proper communication like this ensures very positive, successful and professional outcomes every time. Our teams also work extensively in Flour mills and food processing plants around the country, gaining in depth technical knowledge and a world of experience.
This year we embarked on project for GR Wrights. This is a brand new flour mill installation which when fully operational will produce an impressive 450 metric tonne’s of flour per day. To house such volumes of flour we need the correct equipment and storage facilities in the form of Silos. This is a large operation and with the proper co-ordination with the site teams and our client together we devised a plan of installing the 12 silos in three phases due too the sheer size of the operation. Despite some challenging weather conditions on the projected days of installation all silos are now installed and ready for service
Whilst we have been busy on site, we are just as busy back at SES Fabrication workshop. working on different projects from the design to fabrication and manufacture of machine access platforms. This type of platform is bespoke to each individual machine on site. Once the design is approved from our client it will then be manufactured and shipped too site to be installed.
