About Our Company

Salford Engineering Solutions Ltd began life as a metal fabricator and our company retains a strong interest in all aspects of metal fabrication. From this base the company expanded into plant maintenance and installation services. We found a niche in the large flour mill industry, strongly represented in nearby Trafford Park, Manchester. We have since developed into a leading partner in the North West and beyond, providing a complete service from maintenance work to larger projects such as installing complete flour handling systems.

Flour Mill Engineers

Our skilled and experienced workforce have worked in flour mills throughout the UK and have accumulated a vast amount of experience and technical knowledge. We are UK installers of machines from leading worldwide manufacturers Buhler and Satake.

There is strong synergy between our fabrication work and process plant installation. We bend and fold pipe, manufacture pipework and ducting and build platforms that meet stringent safety requirements.

Steel Fabrication

We can provide steel fabrication and erection services for practically any conventional steel and pre-engineered building structures. We are a dynamic company that handles everything from small, basic steel fabrication and erection jobs to large elaborate projects.

Relocation to Walkden

In May 2019 we relocated Salford Engineering to a new site in Walkden, Manchester. This site also has excellent access. Within 3 miles are the M60, M61 and M62 motorways and the A580. The M6 is 20 minutes down the A580. The new site gives us considerably more space for our expanding sheet metalwork activities.

Process Plant Installation

Our team are a highly skilled customer focused installation unit who are accustomed to installation of heavy process plant machinery in the most demanding situations and always work within the strict site health and safety regulations. Alterations are completed within the allocated shut down times without disturbing production.
