Flour Mill Plant Maintenance

We have maintenance engineers continuously on site at mills across the North West. We perform both reaction and planned shutdown maintenance, to strict timescales.

Cargill, Trafford Park, Manchester

Flour Mill For Cargill we undertake maintenance, repairs, and planned shutdown work. In a current capacity increase project we are installing six new sifter, combi cleaners, conveyors, lift pipes, cyclones, ducting and pipe work.

We have also recently installed a new wheat cleaning plant, including – fans, filters, conveyors, magnetic separators, drum sieves, combi cleaner and aspiration equipment.

Flour Mill Here we have installed various different types of machinery. This includes carousel packers, which gather product at the end of the production line pick up and fill bags and palletise them for despatch. We have also installed conveyors, drum sieves, scales, cyclones, air locks, hoppers and other production equipment.

At this food production plant we have installed multiple sifters and replaced spouting and sifter baths.

For G R Wrights our on-site installation team carried out the installation of a new state of the art flour mill, which is one of the most modern and technically advanced of its kind in the UK producing up to 450 ton every 24 hours.

Quaker Oats Plant, Cupar, Scotland

Here we installed a huge kiln through 6 floors complete with ancillary equipment including filters fans steamline pipe work and stainless steel pipe work with various diverter valves.

Andrews Flour Mill Belfast, Northern Ireland

At Andrews we installed production machinery including conveyors, flow balances, scales, spouting and pipe work.

Flour Mill, Belgium

For this flour mill project, the new sifter was shipped by the manufacturer, Buhler, to the Belgian mill, and the Salford Engineering Solutions team installed it.
